About Declan

My name is ”Declan” I pronounce it “DECK-lann,” O’Neill which is the Anglicized form of Gaelic “Deaglán Uí Néill.” I live near “Ann Arbor” Michigan, but was born in Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. I moved to Gainesville Florida Nov 2005, shortly after I became a legal permanent resident of the US. After a year and a half in Florida, I decided I wanted to live and work in Michigan (I am unsure which is more brutal, the Florida summers or the  Michigan winters.) But I am happy here, – I made the right decision.

Notable Achievements?

One of his notable achievements was selling the first corporate MPLS network with managed Internet service in Ireland, for which he won the coveted eircom Account Manager of the year award in 2004.  Declan also won the highest grossing sales person for 352 Media group in 2007.

Past – Ireland

Prior to moving to the US in 2005, Declan O’Neill was a Business Solutions Manager with extensive experience with the premiere telecommunications company in Ireland, eircom. Declan worked with eircom for six years, were he managed formal bids and proposals, implemented business sales strategies that supported company growth, and identified optimal solutions for his corporate clients.

Now

Today, Declan helps new businesses make the transition to the web, and more established companies define their web presence by offering Strategic Consulting Services and Tailored Business Solutions for the Web, with more than 12 years experience (he designed his first web page in 1997) he has had a great deal of time to understand what works and what doesn’t for making your online business a success. While living in Michigan, with his 2 fish tanks, Declan continues to follow his interests in playing soccer “football”, and extreme sports.
